Each complex will open 90 minutes before the first game of the day and all diamonds will be unlocked at least 60 minutes prior to the first game of the day.

  • Diamonds 7-10 are located to the right upon entering the park
  • Batting cages are available to use at the facility (located inside of the Rec Center)

    • Pitchers in the 13u & older age divisions must wear turf shoes or tennis shoes on the mound (molded cleats and metal spikes are not permitted)

    • All coaches should use the South entrance to the fields to receive their coach pass. For easiest access to this entrance, enter the park from the stop light located at the intersection of State Street and Franklin Street

ALL DIVISIONS

Games will be 1 Hour and 30 Minute Time Limits due to weather.

 

14AAA DIVISION

Each team will play two round robin pool play games with records determining placing.

14AA DIVISION

Each team will play two pool games determining seeding for one bracket game for each team.

13AA DIVISION

Each team will play three round robin pool play games determining placing.

13A DIVISION

Each team will play three round robin pool games determining placing.

12OP DIVISION

Each team will play three round robin pool games determining placing.

12AA DIVISION

Each team will play two pool games determining seeding for one bracket game.

11AAA DIVISION

Each team will play two pool games determining seeding for one bracket game.

11A DIVISION

Each team will play two pool games determining seeding for one bracket game, except the 6/7 game winner will play an additional game for 5th place.

10AA DIVISION

Each team will play two pool games determining seeding for one bracket game.

10A DIVISION

Each team will play three round robin pool games determining placing.

Gameswill have a 1 hour and 30 minute time limit.

9AA DIVISION

Each team will play a two game round robin determining placing.

9A DIVISION

1st and 2nd place teams receive awards.

 TOURNAMENT RULES


 

Indiana USSSA Rules, National USSSA Rules & Official Baseball Rules

 

All players must be listed on your team’s online USSSA roster. Player names and DOB must match their official birth certificate. All players and guest players must be added to your team’s online roster by Thursday at 11:59pm.

TURF FIELD & PORTABLE PITCHING MOUND RULES

7u-12u teams are not allowed to wear metal cleats on ANY playing surface. ALL players at ALL ages are not allowed to wear metal cleats on any turf field at any USSSA event in Indiana. Metal cleats are not allowed on any portable pitching mounds and are also not allowed in the outfield on fields that have turf infields. Additionally, chewing gum and sunflower seeds are not permitted on turf fields. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in forfeiture of the game.

 

TIME LIMITS

  • ALL GAMES

    • 1 Hour 30 Minutes
  • No new inning may be started after time has expired
  • All teams must be ready to play 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time

  5. Average Runs Allowed
  6. Average Run Differential (Maximum of 8 Run Differential Per Game)
  7. USSSA Points (Descending)
  8. Date Team Entered USSSA Database

 

GAME SCORECARDS

Each head coach must sign the scorecard immediately after the game, confirming the final score of the game and the innings pitched by each individual player that pitched. It is the responsibility of each coach to ensure all information on the scorecard is correct. Once the card has been signed, it is official.
