Each complex will open 90 minutes before the first game of the day and all diamonds will be unlocked at least 60 minutes prior to the first game of the day.

  • Diamonds 1-6 are located to the left upon entering the park
  • Diamonds 7-10 are located to the right upon entering the park
  • Batting cages are located inside of the Rec Center (see below graphic for reservation details)

  • CERALAND ONLY:
    • Pitchers in the 13u & older age divisions must wear turf shoes or tennis shoes on the mound (molded cleats and metal spikes are not permitted)

    • All coaches should use the South entrance to the fields to receive their coach pass. For easiest access to this entrance, enter the park from the stop light located at the intersection of State Street and Franklin Street

 EVENT FORMAT 

 

14AAA DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Friday/Saturday at Ceraland Sports Complex. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday at Jennings County High School.

14AA DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Friday/Saturday at Ceraland/Freeman Field. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday at Ceraland Sports Complex and Columbus East High School.

 

13AA DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday. The top two teams from each pool advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday. The third place team in each pool will play in the Consolation Bracket on Sunday.

12AA DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Friday/Saturday. The top seven teams from pool play advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday. The bottom four teams from pool play will play in the single elimination Consolation Bracket on Sunday.

11AA DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday. The top ten teams from pool play advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday. The bottom five teams from pool play will play in the single elimination Consolation Bracket on Sunday.

10A DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday at either Kasting Park or Freeman Field. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday at Kasting Park.

9A DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday. The top nine teams from pool play advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday. The bottom four teams from pool play will play in the single elimination Consolation Bracket on Sunday.

7AA DIVISION

 Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday at North Vernon City Park. The top five teams from pool play advance to Championship Bracket 1. The bottom four teams from pool play advance to Championship Bracket 2. All bracket games will be played at Jennings County High School on the varsity fastpitch field. The Champions and Finalists of both brackets will receive awards.

ALL OTHER DIVISIONS

Each team will play two pool play games on Friday/Saturday. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday.

 

 AWARDS & MERCHANDISE 

 

Champions & Finalists of the Championship Bracket in each division receive custom April Attack rings! T-shirts and other merchandise will be available to purchase on-site.

 

 

 TOURNAMENT RULES 

 

Indiana USSSA Rules, National USSSA Rules & Official Baseball Rules

 

All players must be listed on your team’s online USSSA roster. Player names and DOB must match their official birth certificate. All players and guest players must be added to your team’s online roster by Thursday at 11:59pm.

TURF FIELD & PORTABLE PITCHING MOUND RULES

 

7u-12u teams are not allowed to wear metal cleats on ANY playing surface. ALL players at ALL ages are not allowed to wear metal cleats on any turf field at any USSSA event in Indiana. Metal cleats are not allowed on any portable pitching mounds and are also not allowed in the outfield on fields that have turf infields. Additionally, chewing gum and sunflower seeds are not permitted on turf fields. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in forfeiture of the game.

 

TIME LIMITS

 

  • Coach Pitch & 9u A Divisions
    • 1 Hour 30 Minutes
    • Championship Game: 1 Hour 40 Minutes

 

  • 9u AA – 14u Divisions
    • 1 Hour 40 Minutes
    • Championship Game: 2 Hours

 

  • No new inning may be started after time has expired
  • All teams must be ready to play 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time

  6. Average Run Differential (Maximum of 8 Run Differential Per Game)

GAME SCORECARDS

 

Each head coach must sign the scorecard immediately after the game, confirming the final score of the game and the innings pitched by each individual player that pitched. It is the responsibility of each coach to ensure all information on the scorecard is correct. Once the card has been signed, it is official.
