Each complex will open 90 minutes before the first game of the day and all diamonds will be unlocked at least 60 minutes prior to the first game of the day.

  • Diamonds 1-6 are located to the left upon entering the park
  • Diamonds 7-10 are located to the right upon entering the park
  • Batting cages are available to use at the facility (located inside of the Rec Center)

  • CERALAND ONLY:
    • Pitchers in the 13u & older age divisions must wear turf shoes or tennis shoes on the mound (molded cleats and metal spikes are not permitted)

  • COACH PASSES:
    • All coaches should use the South entrance to the fields to receive their coach pass. For easiest access to this entrance, enter the park from the stop light located at the intersection of State Street and Franklin Street

 EVENT FORMAT 

 

13A DIVISION

Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday at Freeman Field. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday at Ceraland Sports Complex.

 

11A DIVISION

Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday at either Kasting Park or Freeman Field. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday at Kasting Park.

 

10A DIVISION

Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday. The top 9 teams from pool play advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday. The bottom 4 teams from pool play will play in the single elimination Consolation Bracket on Sunday. All games will be played at Kasting Park.

 

8A DIVISION

Double round robin format. Each team will play two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. Champions and Finalists are determined by best records after all games are complete (standard USSSA pool tiebreakers apply). The 1st and 2nd place teams receive rings. All games will be played at North Vernon City Park.

 

ALL OTHER DIVISIONS

Each team will play two pool play games on Saturday. All teams advance to the single elimination Championship Bracket on Sunday.

 

 AWARDS & MERCHANDISE 

 

Champions & Finalists of the Championship Bracket in each division receive custom Frozen Rope rings!

T-shirts and other merchandise will be available to purchase on-site.

NASH’S restaurant in downtown North Vernon (51 N Madison Ave, North Vernon, IN 47265) is offering 10% OFF food to participants and their families. Visit the restaurant and show them your event pass to receive the discount!

SEYMOUR PIZZA PALACE (832 W Tipton St, Seymour, IN 47274) is offering two 16″ two topping pizzas for $38.99. The restaurant has a large dining area with TVs inside!

BREWSKIES (117 E 2nd St, Seymour, IN 47274) restaurant in downtown Seymour will be offering 10% OFF pizzas on Saturday. Brewskies has a great family atmosphere as well as outdoor patio seating available!

 

 TOURNAMENT RULES 

 

Indiana USSSA Rules, National USSSA Rules & Official Baseball Rules

 

All players must be listed on your team’s online USSSA roster. Player names and DOB must match their official birth certificate. All players and guest players must be added to your team’s online roster by Thursday at 11:59pm.

TURF FIELD & PORTABLE PITCHING MOUND RULES

 

7u-12u teams are not allowed to wear metal cleats on ANY playing surface. ALL players at ALL ages are not allowed to wear metal cleats on any turf field at any USSSA event in Indiana. Metal cleats are not allowed on any portable pitching mounds and are also not allowed in the outfield on fields that have turf infields. Additionally, chewing gum and sunflower seeds are not permitted on turf fields. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in forfeiture of the game.

 

TIME LIMITS

  • Coach Pitch & 9u A Divisions
    • 1 Hour 30 Minutes
    • Championship Game: 1 Hour 40 Minutes
  • 9u AA – 14u Divisions
    • 1 Hour 40 Minutes
    • Championship Game: 2 Hours
  • No new inning may be started after time has expired
  • All teams must be ready to play 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time

GAME SCORECARDS

 

Each head coach must sign the scorecard immediately after the game, confirming the final score of the game and the innings pitched by each individual player that pitched. It is the responsibility of each coach to ensure all information on the scorecard is correct. Once the card has been signed, it is official.
