    PREPAID TEAM GATE FEE (NV CITY PARK)

    • All teams playing at North Vernon City Park are expected to pay the team gate fee prior to the event. The Team Manager can pay the team gate by logging into their USSSA Manager Account
    • This allows admission for all parents, grandparents, siblings and any other spectators that will be attending the event. There will be no individual gate fees upon arrival at the facility
  • Additional Note

    SCHEDULE RELEASE

    • The schedule for this event will be released by Tuesday, May 28th
    • Coaches can visit www.ohiovalleysp.com and select “2024 Event Schedule Request” to request game times for your pool play games

    PAYMENT DEADLINE

    • When a division sells out, coaches will receive an email with a payment deadline
    • If you do not receive an early payment deadline email for a sold out division, the payment deadline for this event is Friday, May 24th

Scorecards

The scorecard below is used by umpires in every game to record innings pitched by each player and the score of the game. Umpires will verify with the scorekeeper for each team throughout the game. At the end of the game, each coach is required to sign the scorecard, confirming the final score of the game and the innings pitched by each individual player that pitched. It is the responsibility of each coach to ensure all information on the scorecard is correct.

  • Once the card has been signed, it is official

 

Scoring Games on the USSSA App

Visit this link (iScore Tutorial) to learn how to use iScore to score your team’s games! Using iScore allows you to take advantage of many new features that are now available within the USSSA App, including:

  • Players have the ability to earn PLAYER BADGES for outstanding statistical achievements and milestones
  • STATISTICAL LEADERS within an event are are shown on the “Leaderboard” to highlight the top individual performances in each event
  • TEAM ROSTERS & GUEST PLAYERS for your team and the opponent are AUTOMATICALLY LOADED from the USSSA database into the game (you do not need to manually enter players)
  • LIVE BOX SCORES & COMPLETE SEASON STATISTICS are available to view on your team page
  • LIVE-STREAM GAMES directly from the USSSA app (using Mevo streaming devices)

USSSA Points Race

  • All teams participating in USSSA events earn USSSA Points based on their placing in each tournament. The top team in each division per state will receive a 2024 USSSA State Points Race Championship Ring. The top team in each age group per region will receive a 2024 USSSA Regional Points Race Championship Chain.  

 

  • The number of points a team earns in an event varies based on the stature of the event. The image below shows the points earned based on placing in every type of event. Tap on the image to view the current 2024 standings and learn more about the USSSA Points Race!

Ohio Valley Sports consults with professional meteorologists to make informed decisions when severe weather events occur. The safety of our participants is our top priority. We do everything in our power to play all scheduled games. When weather causes delays or schedule changes, we communicate updates throughout the process. In the event of cancellations, please view the Indiana USSSA Rules Packet for information regarding the refund policy.
